We are looking to add another Licensed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to our team. We are proud of offer a fresh newly remodeled clinic with state of the art equipment from Idexx. No expense has been spared to provide our staff with everything they need for a successful and enjoyable workflow. We are a single doctor practice, and will are opened the following hours:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday:

8:30am-5pm

Wednesday:

8:30am-7pm

Friday:

8:30am-3pm We are seeking a part-time candidate with afternoon availability, able to work 15-24 hours per week. No late evenings, no weekends, and no holidays. We are closed each day from 12:30pm-1:30pm to provide our staff with a paid, interruption free lunch hour. We expect our Veterinary Technicians & Assistants to uphold high standards of patient care and be a true partner with our doctor to advocate for the best outcome for each patient. The ideal candidate will be proficient in day to day skills required of a Veterinary Technician, including but not limited to: Greeting clients & patients and obtaining a thorough and accurate medical history Collecting vitals and thorough patient history Educating clients on vaccines and other preventative care Administering vaccinations, medications, and other treatments Collecting samples and preparing them to be run on in house machines or to be sent to an outside laboratory Entering medical notes and invoices into practice management software Placing IV catheters Preparing patients for surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia Recovering patients after surgery and preparing medications and instructions to be sent home Cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments Assisting Client Service Reps as needed with answering phones and scheduling appointments Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace Candidates should possess a current Veterinary Technician license.
