This is a long term hire not seasonal. PetWellClinic is looking for an Assistant with the values of kindness, service, community, openness and growth. Our Clinics are Assistant driven - Our assistants enter our training program and receive instruction to answer clients' vaccine and preventative questions. We utilize this unique walk-in, assistant-driven model to get our wellness clients checked out before they enter an exam room, allowing the assistants to prepare all the vaccines and preventatives before involving the DVM and beginning the exam. The Assistants are the heart of our clinic!
Additional daily duties include:
  • Open / Close the clinic with minimal supervision
  • Check-in / out clients
  • Determine vaccine status and provide vaccine schedules
  • Assist our Veterinarians during sick visits
  • handle and restrain pets for exams
  • Perform venipuncture
  • Clean and maintain the clinic following antimicrobial standards
