Location Tekonsha Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Tekonsha, MI. Tekonsha is conveniently located alongside I-94 and midway between Detroit and Chicago. You can take a quick 30-minute drive to Battle Creek where you can enjoy the zoo, Leila Arboretum, Kingman Museum, and even a casino! Here in Tekonsha, we are a small community with the great outdoors at our fingertips. From boating to hiking, fishing to hunting, there are so many outdoor activities to enjoy! Practice Overview Tekonsha Animal Hospital is currently a one doctor, rural practice that provides high quality medicine with cutting edge technology. We believe in educating our clients while providing top-notch customer service in a fear-free environment. Our practice fosters an environment based on collaboration and team work. What You'll Be Working On Engaging and communicating with doctors, clients, and staff Getting and maintaining patient information and records Preparing lab specimens Assist veterinarians with exams, surgeries, and animal restraints Be up for a

Qualifications Minimum of 1 working as a veterinary Assistant preferred Minimum of 1 year working in a veterinary practice preferred Minimum of 1 year working with animals in a professional setting required Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development Demonstrated passion for patient care and client service Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) Team player with the ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives Strong commitment to ethics and integrity What's In It For You Simple IRA with match eligibility Health Insurance allowance Paid Time Off eligibility
