Management that is approachable, available, and communicative Work/life balance We are looking to add an amazing Customer Service Representative/Veterinary Assistant to our team! This can be a full time or part time position. We are happy to train the right person in both roles! As a Customer Service Representative, you would be responsible for the following duties: Customer Care
  • Greeting and maintaining positive relationships with clients. You will be the primary friendly face that our clients interact with at first contact in person and on the phone. Creating and maintaining a positive environment and experience during the entire client's stay. Reception
  • Answering phone calls efficiently to schedule appointments, answer questions, triage calls for nurses, Veterinarians and management as well as making outgoing calls. Financial
  • Create invoices and collect secure transactions. Process end-of-day transactions and settlements. Administrative
  • Update medical records, filing and scanning documents, printing, data entry, etc.
Embody a supportive and leading presence to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. As a Veterinary Assistant you would be responsible for the following: Taking patient history Scribing and relaying doctor's notes and recommendations Running lab work Filling prescription medications Performing x-rays Assisting with patient restraint Administering vaccines and medications Reception duties, including scheduling appointments Cleaning and packing instruments Preparing for medical and surgical cases Surgery prep and recovery Other duties as assigned Our ideal candidate should have the following skills (but not required) : Flexible hours and availability Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Pulse/eVet PIMS (a plus!) Experience answering multi-line phone system Experience with and a love for animals and their people Basic understanding of veterinary care
  • preventatives, vaccines, terminology, etc.
