Veterinary Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time) Galloway Village Veterinary 4126 S Lone Pine Ave, Springfield, MO 65804 (Galloway Village) Schedule Monday - Friday Full-time shifts: 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM Part-time and full-time positions available Position Overview Galloway Village Veterinary is looking for a dependable, hardworking Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This role is essential in supporting our doctors and technicians while ensuring excellent care for our patients and a smooth workflow throughout the clinic. Responsibilities Assisting with medication preparation and handling Scheduling appointments and supporting front desk tasks Safely restraining pets during exams and procedures Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and treatments Preparing exam rooms and stocking supplies Cleaning and sterilizing instruments and equipment Maintaining cleanliness of exam rooms, kennels, and clinic areas Feeding, walking, and monitoring hospitalized animals Assisting with basic wound care and bandaging (under supervision) Supporting surgical prep and post-op care (as needed) Laundry and general clinic upkeep Benefits (Full-Time Employees) Health Insurance Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Employee Discounts Why Join Us?
