Veterinary Assistant

Large animal veterinary hospital is seeking full time veterinary technician or assistant. Duties include lab work, radiology, use, care and storage of veterinary instruments and equipment, assisting with treatments on hospitalized and out-patient cases, take TPR on all species, clean and stock vet trucks and exam rooms. Ideal candidate would be organized, thick skinned, and able to get along with co-workers and clients, be computer literate, comfortable around and physically able to handle large animals and able to trot/jog for extended periods Must be able and willing to work long hours, including being on call after hours and on a rotating weekend schedule.
