Job Description
Front Porch Veterinary Clinic in Lumberton, NC is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our team! We are a 2-doctor AAHA Accredited practice. The position will consist of a five-day work week with rotating weekends. We strive to foster positive experiences for our clients and patients while providing quality care. Our staff is dedicated to educating clients and promoting wellness and preventative care. Services we offer include wellness, emergency & urgent care, surgery, laser therapy, diagnostics with an in-house lab, grooming, and boarding/daycare services. Responsibilities/Qualifications As an employee at Front Porch Animal Clinic, all employees will possess a deep desire and passion for people and their pets, providing exceptional, neighborly, hometown service at every opportunity during the workday and will promote a healthy, positive work environment. Candidates are required to have High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time. Candidates must pass the drug screening (in applicable states) and be 18 years or older. Other duties as assigned.
