The veterinary assistants and technicians collaborate with doctors, management, and the client care team in all duties of the hospital required to provide professional health care to pets. In a role that truly does everything, assistants and technicians are key members of the hospital team—ensuring the safety and satisfaction of pets, clients, associates, and the continuity of quality veterinary care. You will be the doctor's primary medical support person, beginning the examination procedure and assisting the doctor throughout diagnosis and treatment phases. Veterinary assistants and technicians are also responsible for the cleanliness of the hospital and play a significant role in communicating with clients about their pets.
