- time (Evenings & Rotating Saturdays)
Schedule:
Evening shifts +Rotating Saturdays Pay Range:

About the Role We are seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our evening team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic hospital environment, works well under pressure, and is passionate about supporting emergency and specialty patients during critical times. What You'll Do Assist veterinarians and technicians with emergency exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures Safely handle and restrain patients, including those that may be critical or unstable Monitor hospitalized patients and promptly report changes to the medical team Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment areas, cages, and equipment Support overall hospital flow and maintain a high standard of organization and patient care What We're Looking For Previous veterinary assistant or animal care experience preferred (emergency experience a plus) Availability for evening shifts and rotating Saturdays Ability to stay calm, focused, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn Why Joining Our Community Is the Way to Go VESH is proud to be part of the Community Veterinary Partners (CVP) family — a growing network of locally led hospitals across 18 states.
