Veterinary Receptionist/Assistant/Technician Riverdale Integrative Veterinary Care - 1.0 Riverdale, NJ Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time | Contract $15 - $25 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Blood sampling Medical documentation Packing Animal catheterization High school diploma or GED Full Job Description We are a non-corporate, fully independent animal hospital located in Riverdale looking for two part/full time vet technician/assistant(s) and one part/full time vet receptionist. We are a fairly new hospital that practice integrative medicine, including general practice (vaccine, surgery, dental…etc.) and holistic medicine (acupuncture, laser, hydrotherapy….etc). Veterinary field experience a plus but not required. We are looking for an animal-loving person to join our warm and caring team. Some tasks involved for this position are (but not limited to): (For technician/assistant) Managing animals gently and effectively Surgery assistance/dental procedures/teeth cleaning Placing IV Catheters (ok if more training is needed) Venipuncture Taking radiographs Anesthesia administration/monitoring Basic animal restraint/assisting doctors with exams Caring for hospitalized patients/boarders Maintaining cleanliness of the hospital Filling prescriptions medical records on computer Packing and processing of all lab materials (For Receptionist) Check-in patients Gather and certify pet and owner information Maintain records Schedule appointments Process payments Prepare prescriptions and explain instructions Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Education:
High school or equivalent above (Preferred)
Experience:
Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred) New graduates and Intership are welcome!!! Please email your resume to us

$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
