Duties:
```
  • Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
  • Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
  • Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
  • Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans
  • Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners ```
Qualifications:
```
  • Certification or degree in veterinary technology or related field requested but not required.
  • Some experience working as a veterinary technician or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of veterinary critical care, and aseptic technique
  • Familiarity with pet care, dog training, and animal behavior
  • Proficiency in veterinary terminology and medical record keeping
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to handle animals with compassion, patience, and professionalism
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to perform basic lab tests
