Duties:
```- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor and record vital signs of animals during procedures and surgeries
- Prepare animals for surgery, including prepping surgical sites and sterilizing equipment
- Assist with radiographs and other diagnostic imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans
- Provide compassionate care to animals and their owners ```
Qualifications:
```- Certification or degree in veterinary technology or related field requested but not required.
- Some experience working as a veterinary technician or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care, and aseptic technique
- Familiarity with pet care, dog training, and animal behavior
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and medical record keeping
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to handle animals with compassion, patience, and professionalism
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures and ability to perform basic lab tests
