We are seeking a motivated, people-oriented Veterinary Assistant to join us full-time. We offer competitive pay (rate dependent upon qualifications) and benefits in a beautiful state-of-the-art facility. Must work some Saturdays, but no overnights, Sundays or major holidays. The ideal candidate would have some prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant. Candidates should enjoy caring for animals, interacting with clients, and working together with teammates to provide top-notch veterinary care to patients and help build long-term relationships with clients. The Veterinary Assistant assists the doctor with office visits and exams, communicates with clients, takes care of the everyday needs of pets in the hospital wards, and helps maintain the hospital facility, keeping it neat, clean and adequately stocked. Must be able to properly restrain both dogs and cats. As the Veterinary Assistant's skills develop, there may be opportunities for advancement into more advanced Veterinary Technician roles and responsibilities.
