About the Role As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting veterinarians and technicians by providing efficient, high-quality patient care. You'll be trusted with hands-on responsibilities that directly impact patient outcomes and clinic flow. This position is best suited for candidates with prior veterinary clinical experience who are ready to contribute from day one. Key Responsibilities Safely restrain and handle animals during exams, diagnostics, and procedures Assist with surgical procedures, anesthesia monitoring, and patient recovery Prepare, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and packs Take radiographs and assist with diagnostic sample collection Administer medications and vaccines as directed Monitor hospitalized patients and report changes in condition Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records Prepare and maintain clean, organized exam and treatment areas Provide clear, compassionate client communication and education Support efficient patient flow and team coordination

What We're Looking For Required:

Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a clinical setting Strong animal handling and restraint skills Working knowledge of common veterinary procedures and terminology Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Surgical and/or critical care assistance experience Radiology experience Experience working across multiple doctors or high-volume clinics Candidates currently enrolled in a veterinary assistant program may be considered; however, this role is primarily intended for experienced Veterinary Assistants.
