Animal Emergency and Specialty Center provides 24-hour emergency care, critical care, surgery, chemotherapy, and animal rehabilitation care to the patients of over 75 referring hospitals from Northern Nevada as well as California. Our region is growing, and we are looking for a kennel attendant who can provide support to our team and our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and disinfect kennels, runs, cages, litter boxes, and common areas to maintain hospital cleanliness and disease control Stock supplies, laundry, trash disposal, and maintain overall facility cleanliness and organization Assist with feeding, watering, walking, and monitoring the well-being of patients. Provide compassionate care and handling of hospitalized canine and feline patients Follow all infection control protocols, including isolation procedures for contagious patients Support the veterinary team with basic restraint and handling during treatments or exams, under supervision

Ideal Candidate:

Prior animal care or kennel experience preferred Comfortable working with injured, anxious, or aggressive animals Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work for extended periods Why Join Us?
