Answer multiple phone lines Greet clients Check clients in/out Schedule appointments Create estimates General cleaning of department Print forms & brochures Take prescription requests and messages Triage emergencies Follow-up calls from previous days appointments Answer questions and problem solve for clients Discuss various specials, recommendations & services with clients End of day closing Payment handling Communicate with all departments and personnel Make and utilize puppy/kitten and new client packs Scan forms into medical record Notate all client communication Respond to emails and text messages Client education Take radiographs and monitor anesthesia Clean cages and weigh animals Sterilize equipment and clean examination tables and rooms Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations Soothe upset or frightened animals Administer medication prescribed by Veterinarians (e.g. by mixing it with food) Observe animal behavior or health condition and report to the Vet Help in cases of emergencies Taking patient history and getting basic vitals Keep accurate records and logs Advise pet owners on nutrition and healthcare
