VCG is hiring and looking for a Part Time Experienced Veterinary Assistant! We are a building something great and are looking for you to join our team! The ideal candidate will have great customer service skills, professional, upbeat, and friendly. Must be comfortable on a computer and take feedback well. Knowledge in veterinary setting and Cornerstone software a plus. We will train you for the rest. This position requires minimum 2 years of Veterinary Assistant Experience and knowledge of Veterinary Reception as well. The veterinary assistant assists the veterinarian and veterinary technicians with office visits and exams, takes care of the everyday needs of patients in the hospital and helps maintain the hospital facility, keeping it neat and clean. Must possess good critical thinking and problem solving skills, compassion, a positive attitude, the ability to follow through, excellent communication and teamwork skills. Multitasking and accepting constructive feedback is essential. Punctuality is expected. An employee in this position must have a sense of caring for animals, be able to lift approximately 50 pounds, be able to maneuver through Cornerstone Software and read, write and understand English.
