They will be responsible for the cleaning and disinfecting of equipment and space that will be used in animal procedures. This individual will provide care, cleaning, and feeding of animals that are under the care of the Veterinary Department. The Veterinary Assistant will also assist with x-rays, lab work, entering medical information into the medical record, and maintaining the facility in a clean and orderly manner. Animal-handling and restraint experience is required. Prior Veterinary Assistant experience preferred. This position will cover two 10-hour shifts (8a-6p) per week, including a Saturday or Sunday.
