We are looking for a veterinary assistant to join our team of compassionate veterinary professionals. Pumpkin Hill Veterinary Clinic is a family owned 2 doctor practice providing traditional and holistic care in rural Western New York. We offer both large and small animal services including radiology, surgery, acupuncture, chiropractic, laser, and much more. Applicants must be enthusiastic about client education: we love our clients and our patients! Our staff works together to provide the best veterinary care possible. Applicant must be a team player and willing to help where needed.

Hours:

Availability Monday

• Friday 7:30am-7:30pm and alternating Saturdays 8-2
• Benefits and Wages negotiable based on skill and Experience.

Position Description:

• Clean treatment rooms and reception areas
• Stock treatment rooms
• Patient restraint (will train as necessary)
• Assist with clerical work (prepare charts for appointments)
• Assist with hospitalized patients
• Prepare surgical supplies/equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow procedures
• Task completion
• Willingness to learn and assist others with enthusiasm

Pay:

From $16.00 per hour
