Job Description
Equine veterinary practice is seeking a full-time assistant. We are a high volume five doctor practice located at Belmont Park Racetrack in Elmont, New York. The responsibilities of the position are the following: assisting with field anesthesia and surgery assisting with ultrasound and radiography exams maintaining inventory for the office and vet trucks We are seeking candidates who possess a strong work ethic, interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate and work well with others. If the applicant is career motivated in a path to veterinary school this position has been beneficial to several of our past employees. Background in horses is a plus. Candidates not already living within normal commuting distance of Belmont Racetrack need not apply.
