Job Description

Description We are currently accepting applications for a full-time veterinary assistant to join our dedicated staff at Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic. This is a fast-paced practice seeing exclusively dogs and cats. Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to Assisting the veterinarian and technician in exam rooms, treatment area and surgery Filling prescriptions Cleaning and maintaining the hospital and working space Client education and communication. Skills Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma or GED required Preferred have at least 1 year of veterinary medicine experience Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians, and other hospital staff. (It's okay if you talk to animals, too!)
