Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a support to our Veterinarian and Technicians in all aspects of veterinary care, from well visits, to emergencies, surgeries and chemo treatments. Reception experience would be helpful. This position requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We are an outpatient clinic only with no overnights and no boarding. We are small and independently owned. Duties including but not limited to Assist veterinarian during examinations and procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of animals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including kennels and examination rooms. Document patient information accurately in medical records and assist with client communications. Reception skills. Qualifications Previous experience in a veterinary setting is strongly recommended, willingness to learn Excellent interpersonal skills to interact positively with clients and team members. A genuine passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
