Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in clients and their pets with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Schedule appointments and manage the veterinary clinic's calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails, providing excellent customer service
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with animal restraint during examinations and procedures
  • Perform basic animal care tasks such as feeding, walking, and cleaning cages
  • Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, medical history, and treatments
  • Handle financial transactions, including processing payments and managing invoices
Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred but will train the right person.
  • Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures preferred
  • Experience in dog handling, training, or pet sitting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our clients while assisting the veterinary team in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
