We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to become part of our veterinary team. In this role, you'll work alongside veterinarians and other team members to help provide excellent care to our patients and outstanding service to the people who love them. No two days in veterinary medicine are exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who is dependable, compassionate, willing to learn, and comfortable jumping in wherever help is needed. Previous veterinary knowledge is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training and are happy to teach the right person. Whether this is your first step into veterinary medicine or you're looking for an opportunity to continue building your skills, we offer room to learn, grow, and advance. What You'll Be Doing As part of our team, you will: Assist veterinarians during patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Help safely restrain animals and assist with medication administration. Provide routine patient care, including feeding, walking, and bathing. Monitor patients for changes in their health, comfort, or behavior and communicate concerns to the veterinary team. Keep patient areas, treatment spaces, and other areas of the clinic clean and organized, including outdoor areas. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatments, medications, and medical histories. Communicate with pet owners regarding their pets' care and treatment plans. Help support the front desk when needed by greeting clients, answering phones, and managing records. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Genuinely enjoys working with and caring for animals. Is comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment. Pays attention to the details, even when things get hectic. Communicates well with clients, veterinarians, and fellow team members. Is eager to learn new skills and open to feedback and training. Takes pride in providing compassionate, high-quality patient care. Works well as part of a team and is willing to help wherever needed. Knowledge of basic veterinary practices is preferred, but previous experience is not required. We will provide the training you need to be successful in the position. More Than Just a Job For someone interested in building a future in veterinary medicine, this position offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while learning directly from an experienced veterinary team. We provide training in veterinary technology and opportunities for advancement for team members who want to continue developing their skills and taking on additional responsibilities. If you're ready to learn, work hard, care for some pretty great animals, and become part of a team that wants to see you succeed, we'd love to hear from you!
