This person will provide support to the Shelter and MABEL (mobile veterinary unit) Veterinarian and staff with a variety of duties and animal care tasks. The primary role of this position will be assisting in surgeries, medical clean-up and daily medication of animals. Other responsibilities this job will have is assisting with blood draws, vaccinations, performing fecal and urinalysis, euthanasia and other associated tasks under the direction of the Shelter and MABEL (mobile veterinary unit) Veterinarian. The schedule may vary week to week. Weekend Availability is required. Holiday coverage will be necessary but will rotate through medical team.
