We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant that shares our mission and values. Client testimonial As a Veterinary Assistant with MVVC, you will be responsible for: Providing exceptional patient care with at least 2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience. Utilizing Fear Free handling and restraint techniques to create a low-stress experience for patients. Preparing patients for surgery, monitoring anesthesia, assisting with recovery, and sterilizing instruments. Performing venipuncture and collecting, preparing, and processing a variety of diagnostic samples. Capturing high-quality digital radiographs. Administering medications orally, intravenously, and subcutaneously as directed. Maintaining compliance with all DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety standards. Accurately documenting patient records using practice software and Microsoft Suite. Communicating professionally with clients while building strong, trusting relationships. Demonstrating excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Safely lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted and remaining seated or standing for extended periods as needed.
