Pay Range:

$11•$14 hourly Your basic duties as a Vet Assistant are: Take great care of our patients Restraint of patients during procedures Cleaning kennels, exam rooms and treatment tables Run and set up lab tests Set up and clean up before/after surgery Unload inventory Assists in taking digital x-rays Work closely in support of our Veterinary Technicians and Doctors Qualifications and Skills Excellent customer communication skills. Motivated and passionate about helping animals is a must

Education:

High School or Equivalent Experience using multiple-line telephone systems. Excellent animal-handling skills Ability to properly restrain patients Ability to complete assigned tasks in the time allotted without direct supervision. Demonstrated ability to show empathy toward clients and treat animals with respect and compassion. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. A commitment to outstanding client service. Ability to lift objects weighing 40 pounds without assistance and objects weighing more than 40 pounds with assistance.
