We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this role, you'll be hands-on in supporting veterinarians, caring for animals, and creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners. What You'll Do As a Veterinary Assistant, you'll play a vital role in both patient care and clinic operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing care such as medicating, grooming, and monitoring animal health Assisting veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures Safely restraining dogs and cats Keeping the clinic clean, organized, and fully sanitized Administering medications under veterinary guidance Observing animal behavior and reporting any changes Supporting emergency care when necessary Communicating with pet owners about care, treatments, and wellness Scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records You'll work with a variety of animal temperaments, some may be anxious or in pain, so confidence, patience, and compassion are essential.
