We are seeking someone who is comfortable and competent working around dogs and cats and who understands that veterinary medicine involves both the rewarding moments AND the not-so-glamorous ones. What you'll be doing: Caring for hospitalized and boarding pets Cleaning kennels, treatment areas, and workspaces Feeding, watering, and monitoring animals Assisting with patient care and basic veterinary duties Walking and handling dogs and cats safely Assisting the veterinary team as needed Helping keep the hospital clean, organized, and running smoothly You will be cross-trained for many aspects of the job We're looking for someone who is: ✔ Reliable and punctual ✔ Hardworking and willing to stay busy ✔ Comfortable getting dirty when necessary ✔ Able to follow directions and work independantly or as part of a team ✔ Kind and compassionate toward animals ✔ Comfortable handling dogs and cats of various sizes and personalities ✔ Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment ✔ Willing to learn and take initiative Veterinary experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person! Qualifications:
