Willamette Valley Animal Hospital of Clackamas is looking for the next great member of our team. We currently have an opening for a full time veterinary receptionist/assistant at our Clackamas-based hospital. The purpose of this position is to provide outstanding client service. Receptionist/assistant responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Be capable of working on their own with minimal supervision and a positive attitude Have exceptional time management skills Answer multi-line phones and respond to inquiries Handle walk-in clients Differentiates between routine and emergency cases Greet clients Provide information about our services, prices, and hours of operation Schedule visits Make referrals Process prescription and records requests Admit and discharge patients Process payments Manage financial information Adequately communicate information between clients and staff Provide client education on proper pet care. Data entry on a web-based Practice Information Management System Obtain a brief medical history Be familiar with basic medical terminology. Be proficient in Google docs and Gmail Some animal restraint Assisting with animal care We value how hard our staff works for us and we compensate them accordingly.
