Job Description
Oceanlake Veterinary Clinic is looking for 1 full or part time certified veterinary technicians or experienced veterinary assistants. We are a busy 3 doctor practice that is always seeking high quality staff. We are a friendly, warm clinic with exceptional customer service and excellent quality medicine. This position may involve cross-training; must pass drug screen. This is a fast paced job that includes greeting clients, working with animals in both room appointments and surgery/surgery preparation. At times, all staff may be asked to help manage phones and check in and out patients. We promote an environment of learning and growth and continue to provide training on a regular basis. Staff are required to physically lift 40 pounds and may be asked to carry out food and keep treatment and retail areas clean. Salary dependent on experience and credentials; full time benefits (dependent on hours) include dental/health insurance, retirement, pet benefits. Summary As a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or experienced assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality veterinary care and support to animals and their owners. Reporting to the lead veterinarian, you will utilize your core skills in animal handling, veterinary terminology, and animal physiology to assist in diagnostics and treatment procedures. Your premium skills in veterinary critical care and laboratory experience will enhance patient outcomes.
