The Job Flexible schedules with full-time benefits offered on a 3-day work week alternating with a 4-day work week to allow you extra days off (if desired) without a loss of benefits. A Part-time position could also be available for the right candidate. Some Saturday shifts are required, but they are shorter days and on a rotating schedule. Medical and Dental Premiums are fully covered with no monthly out-of-pocket cost. At least two years of veterinary experience as assistant. Confident monitoring gas anesthetic procedures Comfortable in an inclusive environment. Enjoys client communication and education Wants to learn and grow their skills within a supportive team Comfortable giving and receiving feedback with a goal of professional growth Enthusiastic and kind Values working as a team with high levels of technician/assistant utilization Interested in finding their perfect fit for long-term employment while developing strong client relationships Passionate about continuing educationRequested Skills:
Confident venipuncture including jugular draws on canine and feline patients Basic knowledge of common canine and feline diseases, lab tests, and medications Comfortable with low-stress restraint and patient handling Confident figuring drug dosages and administering oral, SQ, IM, and IV medications Experienced in digital radiology and has an Oregon Radiology Certification (or is willing to get one within three months) Effective and compassionate client communication Experience with anesthesia, including monitoring, induction, and recovery If you have these skills and our fun, hard-working team approach honoring the individual is appealing, we would love to talk with you!Job Type:
