Job Description

Are you looking to get your foot in the door at a veterinary clinic? Are you proficient in a variety of computer applications and office equipment? Do you have a customer service background? If yes, we would like to meet you! We are an AAHA accredited practice in Salem, Oregon, looking to add another team member. We have a fun and relaxed, yet professional work atmosphere. You should have excellent customer service and communication skills, be able to multi-task well, thrive in a fast-paced environment and and be a great team player. You should be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Drive, email, scanner and fax machine. Duties include but are not limited to: Customer service, scanning documents, processing records requests, taking messages, emails, stocking office supplies, cleaning & organizing. rotating stock, inventory counts, correspondence, and assisting receptionist and practice manager with other tasks as needed. This is an entry-level position with the goal of eventually working towards a receptionist role within the clinic. We would ideally like to find a candidate that is an ambitious learner looking for a long-term position with a solid "work family". This position requires working Saturday and Sunday. F/T consists of 4, 10 hour days. Preference given to bilingual (spanish) applicants •FOR CONSIDERATION, you must include with your resume, a cover letter with your available work schedule and why you are interested in working in the veterinary field. You will not be considered if you do not complete these requirements.
