As an assistant veterinary technician at Creature Comforts Veterinary Hospital in East Norriton, PA, you will play a crucial role in the health and lives of our patients and their family. With your empathetic communication, client education skills, gentle handling and compassionate care you will form lasting bonds with your patients and have the opportunity to see puppies become dogs, kittens become cats. What you'll contribute: Effectively and compassionately communicate client questions and concerns to the doctor, enabling each pet to receive the best care possible at every visit. Support other team members in administering care, taking radiographs, drawing blood, running labwork, and administering injections. Contact clients to follow-up on treatments and illnesses to ensure the best outcomes for each patient. Share in general housekeeping to provide a clean and safe environment and help prevent the spread of disease. Cross train at the front desk to allow for the most flexibility in seeing our patients. What you bring to our team: Previous veterinary experience required (1-2 years minimum) Positive attitude and TEAM Player personality Excellent communication skills Exceptional customer service, compassion for all clients and patients Adaptable to the demands of the day Ability to work efficiently, and remain calm during stressful situations Ability to cover the front desk as needed and assist with client calls and scheduling patients. Ability to lift up to 35 lb; tolerate significant physical activity including climbing stairs, walking, squatting and kneeling; and concentrate and function in a noisy environment.

Schedule - Full Time Hours, 5-day workweek (including some nights), every other Saturday morning, CLOSED on major holidays and Sundays.
