Job Description

Veterinary hospital in Chester County Pennsylvania - specifically the Frazer/Malvern area - has an opening for receptionist/veterinary assistant/tech position. We are a small animal hospital with three doctors. We see dogs and cats for routine or sick visits, surgeries and advanced dentistry procedures. We want an upbeat, quick learner who can work independently. Candidate should love dogs and cats and enjoy working in a smaller office with a relaxed atmosphere. We are privately owned! We would hire full time for the right person but could adjust for PT hours. A certified veterinary technician would be welcome. Office duties would include answering phones, scheduling appointments, invoicing, preparing vaccines and setting up routine lab tests. Candidate would also be required to assist the doctors in the exam rooms with restraint of dogs and cats. Currently we are open until 6PM Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, with shorter days on Wednesdays and Fridays. We do not have Saturday hours at the present time. Hours are not set but would be 3-4 days/week (20-30 hours) depending on our needs and availability of the applicant.
