Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, coachable individual to join our team in an entry-level position with the opportunity to grow in veterinary medicine. This is a hands-on role for someone who is willing to work hard, learn quickly, and be part of a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You will be trained as both a Veterinary Assistant and a Customer Service Representative , and once trained, scheduled where the hospital needs you most. This position requires open availability. Duties Greet clients at the front desk and provide assistance with inquiries regarding services and products. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations for veterinary services. Provide information to educate clients about their pets' health needs. Assist in medication administration under the supervision of veterinary staff. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in the system. Handle client concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience. Support veterinary technicians and veterinarians during procedures as needed, including tasks related to animal restraint. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room. Count and fill medications in our clinics pharmacy A variety of other tasks as needed for the betterment of our clients, patients and hospital. Experience Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred, particularly in a veterinary or animal care setting. Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and physiology is desirable. Familiarity with medication administration is a plus. Experience working with animals in a kennel or clinic environment is beneficial.
