Job Description

Veterinary Assistant/Technician needed at Countryside Animal Clinic! Come to work at our practice in a serene country setting on 11 acres of peaceful rolling hills. We are looking for a positive, upbeat, people person who loves animals too and will fit in well with our amazing team. The position is full-time 5 days a week, approximately from 9 to 5,and we close at 5:00, so no nights or weekends! We are looking for someone with great customer service, and Veterinary Assistant/Technician experience . All of our current employees are great people, personalities, and service providers to our clients and their pets. We need one more great person to serve as a face and voice of the practice.
Desired experience:
Veterinary Technician/Assistant:
1 years Must be able to communicate to staff and customers in person and by phone Motivated self-starter and team player Compassionate and a genuine love for animals Professional & Confident Be able to learn to operate & maintain medical equipment: Xray, Dental Unit, Abaxis Lab equipment, and more Good computer skills are required; we use Neo and Microsoft based programs, so any experience with these is considered a plus. Must be able to learn how to monitor anesthesia, assist in surgery, and eventually perform blood draws, place IV catheters, etc. Experience in these areas is a plus. Must be able to be on feet all day and be able to lift up to 35lbs
