Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Attendant (PART TIME)

Part-Time Kennel Attendant / Veterinary Assistant Animal Medical Center of Nittany Valley•Mill Hall, PA We're looking for a friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Assistant ! The focus of this position is to support our kennel and clinic — including walking, feeding, medicating, and cleaning — while also assisting our veterinarians and technicians during clinic hours during appointments.

Clinic Hours:

Monday-Friday:

7:00 AM•7:00

PM Saturday:

7:00 AM•12:00 PM Flexible scheduling available•some weekend availability is required. We are looking to fill both evening and daytime hours ( may consider 2 candidates). Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Previous experience working with animals preferred (kennel, shelter, or veterinary setting) Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills Engages with patients, clients and fellow staff in a clear, respectful manner as a representative of AMC Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow directions Proficient in basic mental math, handwriting and typing skills Proficient oral communication skills and ability to multitask in a lively environment Physical ability to safely perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or carrying up to 50 lb
