We support vets in building successful veterinary practices from the ground up and provide ongoing business management services, including payroll, human resources, finance, inventory management, client services, and more. This allows our partners to focus on delivering exceptional patient care while we help support the operational side of their business. Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring current clinic inventory levels and support new clinic openings, ensuring accurate data collection across various locations. Your efforts will directly contribute to streamlined logistics, optimized stock management, and improved overall efficiency. Responsibilities Inventory Systems and Data Maintain product records in practice management software (Digitail), including names, packaging, units, cost, and category coding Pull and format recurring exports from Digitail and Vetcove for audits, cost reviews, and leadership reporting Monitor min and max levels at each clinic and flag items that need adjustment based on usage trends Review reception of goods entries for accuracy and escalate discrepancies, including cost and sales price errors Pricing Support Prepare clinic pricing files and supporting data for product and service pricing audits Enter and verify approved pricing in Digitail, including selling prices and dispensing fees Track audit findings to resolution and confirm corrections were made at the clinic level Help maintain master pricing and markup reference workbooks as products and costs change Documentation and Reporting Maintain SOPs, reference guides, and training materials in the established AcharaVet format Build and update recurring spreadsheets and summary reports Track open projects and follow-up items New Clinic Openings Support new clinic openings with support around inventory selection, ordering, and training Complete other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Veterinary industry experience with broad working knowledge of medications, vaccines, diagnostic tests, and clinic supplies, including what each item is used for and when it is used Able to recognize product equivalents, generics, strengths, and package sizes well enough to catch errors in product and pricing data Adequate working knowledge of Excel, meaning comfortable sorting, filtering, and working in large files, with willingness to learn lookups and pivot tables on the job. Accuracy with numbers and comfort working with large data sets Strong organizational skills. Able to juggle several clinics and open items at once, keep files and records orderly, and track tasks to completion without reminders Initiative. Spots what needs doing, asks the next question, and moves work forward without being prompted Clear written and verbal communication, with the ability to follow up professionally across multiple clinics Valid driver license, reliable transportation, and availability to work in office at our Greenville, SC location on Tuesdays Able to work productively remote, including reliable internet and a quiet space for calls and focused data work

$52,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
