You'll be an essential part of our medical team- helping to provide compassionate, high-quality care while making sure every visit runs smoothly for both pets and their people. We're a small animal practice, so you'll be working closely with dogs and cats in all stages of life. From routine wellness visits to surgical procedures, your skills and attention to detail will help ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

Some of what you'll be doing: Assisting veterinarians during exams and surgeries Preparing patients and the surgical suite for procedures Dental prophylaxis Monitoring anesthesia and post-op recovery Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments Independently handling Technician Appointments Collecting samples and running in-house lab tests Collecting and submitting samples to the reference lab and pathology Taking radiographs and maintaining accurate medical records within Cornerstone Educating clients on home care, medications, and treatment plans Helping keep our clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure, or at least 2 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician What we're looking for: Someone who's passionate about small animal care A team player who communicates well and stays calm under pressure Experience in veterinary medicine is required A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow If you're looking for a place where your work truly makes a difference—and where you'll be supported by a close-knit, compassionate team—we'd love to hear from you. Essential Functions Regular attendance and timeliness are essential. Employees are required to be at the office as early as 7:30am and may be required to work past 6:30pm. Requires strong communication and client service skills Ability to greet clients in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner- check clients in, discharge patients Collect client fees, post and record payments, make change, and process credit card transactions Input data into Cornerstone Ability to multitask effectively Able to lift patients and carry equipment, products, or supplies up to 40 pounds; able to lift patients or carry equipment over 40 pounds with assistance Perform physical activities including bending, standing, stooping, walking, sitting, talking, and listening; may be required to stand or walk for long periods; must be able to use hands and arms to handle or reach Open and close practice Work well with all employees and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy
