As a Vet Assistant with Brown Animal Hospital, you will be an integral part of our team at Brown Animal Hospital, and will be a key part in making sure our clients and patients have the best care possible.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a veterinary setting required 1+ year of Veterinary Assistant experience Good communication skills Be able to manage stressful situations Must work well with others Adapt to changing environments Punctuality Good judgment Positive and warm personality
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF A VET ASSISTANT
Assist veterinarians during appointments, surgeries, and other medical procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, and record vital signs Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing Clean and maintain medical equipment and exam rooms Provide exceptional customer service to our clients Completion of related education and training when assigned May have shared or rotating responsibilities on weekends and/or holidays Other duties as assigned We need someone who is reliable, kind, and truly has a passion for what they do.
