Job Description
Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide high-quality care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. This role is vital in ensuring that clients receive the support they require to maintain their independence and dignity. Responsibilities Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort. Medication reminders as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers regarding client needs. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition. Requirements Experience in Level II trauma center, Level I trauma center, or teaching hospital settings is preferred. Background in hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, or medical-surgical nursing is highly desirable. Familiarity with inpatient, outpatient, clinic experience, or post-acute care settings is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must pass background checks and comply with health regulations.
