Dogwood Veterinary Clinic in Richburg, SC is looking for a Veterinary Assistant/Technician to join our team on Saturdays, and Sundays (possibility is open for adding a day or two during the week). What You'll Do Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and surgical procedures Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, some farm animals, and exotic pets Administer medications (oral, topical, injectable) as directed by veterinarians Monitor patients for comfort, safety, and any changes in condition Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas, kennels, and exam rooms Provide basic care (nail trims, feeding, bathing, etc.) when needed Collect and process laboratory samples (blood, fecal, urine samples) Support the front desk with phones, scheduling, and client check-out when cross-trained Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members Who We're Looking For Previous veterinary experience is a must and we will continue training for the right person Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with animals of all temperaments Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable and available Saturday and Sunday (and some weekdays if interested)
