About Us Sweetspire Veterinary Clinic is a growing general practice in Summerville, SC, dedicated to providing affordable, low-cost preventative veterinary care . Our mission is to make high-quality wellness services accessible while educating pet owners on preventing infectious and life-threatening diseases. Qualifications Prior veterinary or animal care experience required Surgical experience preferred (anesthesia monitoring, surgical prep, and recovery) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic with a high level of self-motivation Excellent multitasking skills with strong attention to detail Outstanding customer service and communication skills Passion for affordable preventative veterinary medicine and client education Responsibilities Obtain accurate patient histories and record vital signs Educate clients on preventative care, treatments, and follow-up instructions Safely handle and restrain pets during exams and procedures Maintain accurate and thorough medical records Assist with radiographs (X-rays), diagnostics, and sample collection (urine, fecal, etc.) Perform basic laboratory processing and analysis Assist with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and post-operative care Support hospital cleanliness and daily maintenance alongside the team

$15.00•$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Closed Thursdays and Sundays Job Type:
