Van Crest Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary practice located in West Columbia, SC, proudly serving our community for over 20 years. As a two-doctor practice led by a dedicated husband-and-wife team, we offer a wide range of medical, surgical, and dental services, alongside preventive care programs tailored for pets of all ages. Your Role:
Team Player with a Positive "Can Do" Attitude Handling dogs and cats Strong Work Ethic Good Communication Skills Ability to follow protocols and directions Ability to Multitask and time management Honest and dependable Flexible Reliable Transportation Computer Skills are a must Daily Duties Include but Not Limited to: Walking dogs in all weather conditions Kennel Cleaning Lifting patients over 50 lbs Caring for boarders (cats and dogs) Client interaction Animal restraining Dog/cat bathing Toe nail trimming/grinding Administering prescribed medication Performing treatments as directed and supervised by Veterinarian Assist the vet as needed
  • Qualifications:
  • Our ideal candidate should possess:
  • Prior experience in a veterinary setting
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with veterinary medicine, including knowledge of canine and feline vaccine protocols, flea and heartworm prevention, and common infectious diseases.
