Overview We are looking for a veterinarian assistant to join our team! Experience is preferred, a love for animals and client care is a must. Animal Medical Clinic is a privately owned, small animal practice that has been serving the Tri-Cities area for over 40 years. Having opened our new facility in June of last year, we have welcomed new doctors and continued to grow as a team. We strive to provide top-of-the-line care for both our furry patients and our clients. Duties Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and procedures Preform diagnostic testing and collect samples Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinary staff Care for hospitalized and boarding patients Maintain a clean and safe environment Aid with front desk responsibilities when needed: scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and maintaining accurate medical records Provide outstanding customer service Experience (preferred but not required): Experience working in a veterinary clinic setting Hands-on experience with animal care, animal restraint, medication administration, and pet care practices Customer service experience We please ask that you visit our new office and fill out an application in person.
