Position Overview:
We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our team. Prior experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated, reliable, and passionate about animal care.
Responsibilities:
Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately Clean and maintain exam rooms, kennels, and equipment Feed, walk, and monitor animals in our care Assist with basic administrative tasks such as answering phones and scheduling appointments Maintain accurate patient records
Qualifications:
Experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred, but not required Willingness to learn and follow instructions Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments Dependable and punctual
