Experience:
At least two years of recent veterinary experience Best fit: A knowledgeable, detail-oriented communicator who enjoys coordinating care and supporting clients What You'll Do Coordinate surgical consultations, procedures, recheck appointments, and related documentation. Guide clients through pre-operative preparation, discharge, recovery, medications, and aftercare. Perform phone triage for prospective surgical patients and help determine appropriate next steps. Prepare patient estimates and invoices, fill prescriptions, and coordinate pharmacy orders. Communicate with referring veterinarians and obtain medical records needed for continuity of care. Follow up with surgical patients after discharge and provide daily updates to families of hospitalized patients. Partner closely with surgeons and surgery technicians to support excellent patient outcomes. Assist with appointments, inventory, and ordering as needed.
