  • Assist veterinarians in providing care to animals in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
  • Prepare animals for surgery, including cleaning and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment
  • Monitor animals before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples for testing
  • Perform basic laboratory tests such as bloodwork and urinalysis
  • Take and develop radiographs (x-rays)
  • Provide assistance with dental cleanings and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment ```Qualifications```
  • Previous experience in an animal clinic is preferred.
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and effectively
  • Proficiency in dog handling techniques
  • Knowledge of pet grooming practices is beneficial but not required
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
