Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, efficient, and experienced team member to join an established full-service veterinary practice. This position is available for experienced veterinary technicians or assistants only with over 1 year continuous verifiable experience working in a role as a veterinary technician or assistant in a veterinary facility (not including experience gained in technician or veterinary school or during an internship/externship) in order to be considered. Ideal candidates have basic skills including but not limited to venipuncture, injection administration, typing, customer service acumen, proper restraint, anesthesia monitoring, etc and will be comfortable with medical terminology and client communication and education. Part time hours are available. Weekend and holiday availability on a rotation is a must. Please submit an application and resume for consideration. We provide the latest in top quality care for our patients including digital radiography, laser therapy, tonometry, in-house lab testing, dentistry, surgeries, nutritional consulting, preventative care, chronic disease management, and more. Team members are cross-trained and expected to assist in all areas of the facility. Customer service experience in a veterinary setting is required and all applicants must be comfortable discussing patient care with clients in person and over the phone. Applicants must be able to work independently without supervision, be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and dedicated to the practice and our patients. Pay is commensurate with experience.
