Join our team! We are looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our General Practice team at Windhaven Veterinary Hospital in Plano and surrounding North Dallas locations . This role offers the opportunity to work closely with veterinarians in surgery, anesthesia, exam rooms, diagnostics, and everyday patient care . If you're an experienced veterinary professional who enjoys hands-on patient care, working with a strong team, and continuing to build your clinical skills, we'd love to meet you! What You'll Do Assist with surgical procedures, including patient preparation, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery Provide high-quality nursing care before, during, and after procedures Support veterinarians with wellness, sick, and follow-up appointments Perform patient assessments, collect samples, assist with diagnostics, and administer treatments as directed Maintain accurate medical records and communicate changes in patient condition Educate clients on medications, treatments, and post-operative care Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment and surgical environment Work collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide excellent patient and client care What We're Looking For Veterinary Technician or Assistant experience required Surgical and anesthesia experience strongly preferred Credentialed Veterinary Technician preferred, but not required Strong clinical and patient care skills Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Compassionate, dependable, and committed to exceptional patient care Willingness to learn and grow clinically Why Join Our Team?
